Please refer to the size guide for accurate measurement's and to ensure correct size. The small pug would be considered a small collar size. Whilst the French Bulldog (depends on dogs size) would be a medium to large.

I would recommend our puppy collar and lead sets. These are made with soft material, are fully adjustable and each have there own bow attached. As the puppy grows please check weekly the fit of your collar and replace when it gets to small.

Nylon: it is lightweight, easy to clean and durable a perfect choice for every day.  Genuine leather can be comfortable, stylish, and last a long time. However, leather collars can require a lot more maintenance than fabric collars.

An important aspect of a dog collar is how it fits, and its ability to adjust it can make a huge difference in your dog’s comfort and
safety, you should be able to fit two fingers comfortably between the collar and your dog's neck.  We also recommend checking you dogs collar at least once a month and replacing it if it shows signs of wear and tear, damaged and/or your dog is outgrowing it, especially puppies as they grow so fast.

Size and fit: It's important to choose a collar that fits your dog properly. A collar that is too loose may slip off, while a collar that is too tight can be uncomfortable or even dangerous for your dog. Measure your dog's neck (see size guide) and choose a collar that fits snugly but can still be slipped over their head easily.

To ensure proper collar maintenance check your dog’s collar once a month, or once a week for puppies and kittens, check your dog’s collar
to ensure it still fits properly. Also check your dog’s collar for signs of wear and tear as well. If it looks like it is getting frayed and may fall apart, replace straight away.

You can determine how tight a dog's collar should be with the “two-finger rule.” Slip the two middle fingers on your hand under the dog's collar. If your fingers slide under the collar but also remain snug, the collar is the proper fit.

We recommended to remove your dog's collar at night, as it can give their neck some well-deserved rest and prevent any potential discomfort or skin irritation. Additionally, removing the collar minimizes the risk of it getting caught on objects, which could lead to accidents or injuries.

It's important to remove your dog's collar before crating them. Leaving collars on dogs while they are crated can lead to a serious suffocation and strangulation issue.
